Getting live shows sounds like a challenge to most artists, but it doesn’t have to be! Here are a few tips to get you started:
🙌 Create a mixtape to showcase what your set sounds like
🙌 Create a video recording of you playing (even if it’s a cool home set-up)
🙌 Reach out to local bars/clubs
💡Always keep in mind: what is my added value for the club/bar/festival? How are they going to sell more tickets with me on the line-up?
And once you book a show > bring a photo- & videographer to capture everything to build your portfolio.
