Ok the €15 might be a bit exaggerated, but it’s normal for artists to invest in their songs with eg a videoclip, have people around them to make the song 100% perfect (be it a singer, co-producer, writer) which means they get a smaller size of the pie. But let’s face it, 1 million plays still is an amazing achievement!
